I am your host, Ratna Ramakrishnan, a passionate entrepreneur, digital marketer, and pit bull puppy lover. I've been happily married to my college sweetheart for 25 years, and I'm mom to two adorable boys who keep me on my toes. 

You know, when my first bond started kindergarten, I thought my days as a stay-at-home mom were over. I was dreading the idea of going back to work and leaving my then two-year-old at a daycare. So, I decided to start a business so I could be there for my kids and have no boss. I launched a kid's summer camp called Brain Vine Camps, which focuses on Lego, robotics, and financial literacy.

What began as a fun side gig turned into a million dollar venture by year three in the severely competitive summer camp space in the Silicon Valley in California. Looking back, it all boiled down to one thing: digital marketing. I embraced the world of Google Maps: Google ads, Facebook ads, SEO, and more. I became a regular at local networking meetings, helping fellow business owners realize the power of digital marketing. 

And that's when it hit me. Remodeling contractors could benefit from these skills just as much as I did. A parent looking for a top-notch summer camp is no different from a homeowner searching for the perfect remodeler. So here I am, not just another digital marketer, but someone who's been in the trenches, who understands every facet of digital marketing, and who's ready to share it all with you.
